paul jacob sensei

Paul Jacob Sensei (sandan, 3rd degree black belt) began training in 2006. He is passionate about the lifelong benefits of traditional karate practice, and promotes heart, family and compassion in karate, three instrumental principles of the Renshinkan school worldwide.

In 2019, he won the kata championship. He has competed for many years in both kata and kumite, and won the GB title in 2019 in the adult division.  He has represented the Great Britain team at the World Championships in Japan and is a very keen kata practitioner.

Both Paul's sons have achieved their shodan (1st degree black belt), owing to our school ethos that we are a family style organisation.
