Instructor and branch leader
Cameron Ireland Shihan (yondan, 4th degree black belt) became a sensei in 2012 with the aim of giving families the opportunity to learn and train together within the Danehill, and Chelwood Gate communities. Led by Cameron Ireland Shihan, his dojos introduce people of all ages to a traditional family style of karate with all the benefits that such practice brings.
Cameron graded to 4th Dan, and has been practicing for over 16 years. He has traveled to Japan and Taiwan with fellow students from the UK and has formed a deep respect, commitment and loyalty to the whole Renshinkan family worldwide.
Marc Don Francesco Sensei (nidan, 2nd degree black belt) is a student of Cameron Ireland Shihan's, and he runs the Nutley dojo. His character and confidence carry morale and strength for all to see.
As a team leader on the Hiroshima Tour in 2023 Marc helped to deliver smooth, safe and happy tour management.
Both Marc's sons have also practiced with him in the dojo. It is Marc's ambition to support Cameron Ireland Shihan to help him grow their East Sussex branch.
