Tom Frech Sensei (sandan, 3rd degree black belt) commenced his training under Julia Turley Shihan in 2005 at the age of seven. He was awarded his latest grade by Yuzo Tamotsu Soke (10th Dan, Grand Master) at the Renshinkan headquarters dojo in Japan. He has earnt multiple Great British Kata, Kumite and Kobudo titles and has competed at world championships in both Taiwan (2015) and Japan (2019 & 2023).

Tom Sensei is committed to helping his students grow into strong, compassionate and respectful members of society, he feels this is essential to his role as a Sensei and a follower or budo.
